Terms of Service.
Last updated: June 3, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Modulus Technologies website, the Modulus Studio application, and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
The Service
Modulus provides agentic AI tools for small and medium businesses, including Modulus Studio, a desktop application that repurposes your source material into content and transcripts. We may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Provide accurate information, and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
Plans, credits, and billing
- Paid plans include a monthly pool of credits that resets each billing period. Generating, repurposing, and transcribing consume credits.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the current period.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. Taxes may apply based on your location.
- If something goes wrong with a charge, contact us and we will make it right.
License to use Modulus Studio
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use Modulus Studio for your own business while your plan is active. Please do not resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the application or attempt to bypass licensing.
Your content
You own the source material you bring and the content you generate. You grant Modulus only the limited rights needed to process your material and provide the Service. Modulus Studio is built to stay faithful to your source and does not fabricate quotes or facts, but you are responsible for reviewing output before you publish it.
Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, process content you do not have the rights to, or attempt to disrupt or abuse the system. We may suspend accounts that do.
Intellectual property
The Modulus name, brand, software, and site are owned by Modulus Technologies. These terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or code beyond using the Service as intended.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." AI output can contain errors; review it before relying on or publishing it. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Modulus is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product grows. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Modulus Technologies is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
